There is a large price range in portable bluetooth speakers. I have had a few and found that even low priced units. This speaker has lights, which seem to be just a cosmetic feature. However, on a dark night, the lights are very helpful in locating the speaker. This is especially true if you are in a crowded room or at an outdoor event where it is difficult to see, plus the lights look cool 🙂
